All I need to say is this place and the food is legit. This Filipino approves. It is what it claims to be and always has. This is a filipino. family. kitchen. Of course there is grease on the walls. Mine does too. Of course the people behind the counter look like my Mission district Filipino family.
For those leaving a bad review because the place is "dirty", I only wonder how many of you have gone to another country and were proud of yourself for participating and enjoying some authentic cultural phenomenon at a similar establishment and licked your damn lips and told the world how awesome it was to have real ___ blank food and had the gall to leave your dirty hypocritical tracks on Irma's hard earned and well deserved yelp reputation? Did y'all read the complainer that whined about vegetarians can't eat here? Did you all see the reviewer who complained that the lumpia was BROWN? Oh my God, go home. Irma's forever. -

This was closed earlier this year because the did not pass the health inspection
The lumpia's are amazing but it's always so dirty and greasy. My shoes literally stick to the floor
The front staff is nice and I haven't got sick yet -

Review for a Postmates delivery from Irma's and their Filipino Breakfast ONLY!

OMG - I am so sad to see all the lousy reviews about this restaurant. Though since many of the poor ratings were from bad service and visual aesthetics of the restaurant, I guess I was spare from both with a take-out/delivery order. Meeps!!
That being said, Ben and I ordered Filipino Breakfast from here over the weekend and we FRICKIN' LOVED IT! I only know of one other place that sells a solid filipino breakfast and it is in the Peninsula, so I was so incredibly stoked to find this place!
We ordered the Longsilog and the Tocilog! The sausage and the sweet bacon were delicious - not too salty or sweet, not overcooked, and paired perfectly with the garlic rice and fried egg. I was super thrilled with the food and we both crushed our respective plates in about ...oh..8 minutes?!? haha...oh wells, I'm pretty sure this will be a default delivery spot for as long as we are in SF! -

I have been here several times and the food is not bad. The service on the other hand is pretty inconsistent. I have had some fun interactions with the male staff here but for some reason have had some bad customer service from a particular woman that left a sour taste in my last experience here.
I came to have breakfast here on my last trip. The cook told me that they had ran out of egg and garlic rice. So, I asked if I could get the breakfast meal price for plain rice with the sauce of the adobo instead? The cook said it was fine till a lady worker came and intervened and started putting more adobo on my plate. I told her that I didn't want much and because they were out of eggs and garlic ri.... "I know! I know!" She said interrupting me. I let her go and do whatever she was doing. Skip to the end where she charged me for a 2 item plate instead of the breakfast plate. She tried to explain that I have 2 items so I should be charged as so, I told her it was because they had ran out of the garlic rice and egg, that I only wanted the adobo sauce for the breakfast price, like what I had discussed with the cook. The cook came to my aid and argued with his coworker and I eventually took my plate to go without the adobo.
The lady explained as I was leaving, "They will be opening a Tselogs next door! Maybe you should go to them next time!"
I don't know why she said that but there was something obviously bothering her. I know I wasn't rude. But with the type of service that day, I will definitely look for a different Filipino place! Stay hungry adventurous my friends and happy Yelping! -
Pt 5.
DONT COME HERE
Liar scammer old lady worker stole $10 from me.
My order was $9. I gave her $20 and only gave me $1 back
